Tsipporah Learns to Stand

Tsipporah Learns to Stand
Perry visit to House of Chu
This weekend we had a fantastic visit in our home with the Perry family. Derek, Angela, Ben, Kegan and Olivia stoped in on their vacation. We all had a great time catching up and watching how the children have grown. We hope that the future will allow us more time to get together. Check out more pics of our visit on our flickr stream.
Tsipporah's Baptism
We are planning a baptism for Tsipporah Meredith Chu. She will take the plunge on Sunday 26 August 2007, 11:30am at Memorial Park in Elk Rapids. Tsipporah will join many others who will be baptised or remembering their baptisms in Grand Traverse Bay. This baptism event is part of our month long Worship in the Park series at WERK UMC. There will be a luncheon to follow at the houseofchu.org campus. We hope that you can attend. You may put your name on the guest list on upcoming.org.
Tsipporah Sits Up
Today Tsipporah learned to sit up on her own.
Summer Vacation
The Chu family had a great time on summer vacation. We went camping at the Ionia State Park. It was 98 degrees F but at least there was a very nice lake to play in. We had tons of fun with Grandma and Grandpa Greyerbiehl in their camper. Then we went to Chicago and the Shriner's Childrens Hospital for a check for Ethan. Everything check out good so he avoids more surgery at least for now. In Chicago we stayed in a hotel not as comfy as the Greyerbiehl camper but cooler. Here are some of the pictures of our adventure. Click on any of the images to see more photos of the houseofchu summer vacation on flickr.
Ethan Sing (and Dances) the Alphabet
Ethan loves to sing and dance. Here he set up a stage [coffee table] and performed the alphabet song complete with a big finish. Don't worry he was not hurt.
Happy 37th B-Day Bill
Thanks for all the cards, gifts, and general well wishes you sent to the houseofchu. You made this day very special for me. Here is a picture of Tsipporah, Ethan and me next to a big stack of gift boxes from Amazon. After the presents I got my free birthday dinner from BD Mongolian BBQ. Then back to houseofchu for cake and ice cream. Finally off to catch a Beach Bums minor league baseball game. It was the best birthday ever!
